A quirky gem in Chester

We loved the quirky decor that gave our room a character of its own. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, ensuring we had restful nights. Breakfast was a feast, cooked to perfection!

The room was a bit dimly lit, and there were minor issues with the shower that needed fixing. One evening, the noise from the pub below could be heard until late, which might be an issue for light sleepers.

had an amazin stay at golden eagle! the staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home. breakfast was included and wow, that fry up was the bomb! the room was cozy and warm. We got a kettle, which is a nice touch. the bar downstairs had a really chill vibe and was great to hang out in.

the shower was a bit tricky to adjust, and it took forever to get the temp right.

We faced several issues during our stay that no one seemed to care about. First, the wifi connection was exceedingly poor, making it nearly impossible to plan our day. Second, the room lacked natural light, which made for a very uncomfortable experience, especially for any personal grooming. Finally, the view from our window left a lot to be desired, as we were greeted by the backside of a flat roof instead of a pleasant landscape.

The parking situation was a bit inconvenient, as I had to walk a fair distance to find affordable options.

We were super comfy in our room, and the full English brekkie was def a highlight! The staff were super chill and helped us find nearby things to do. Only bummer was the noise from the bar downstairs, especially when things started kicking off. But the good vibes and warmth made up for it!

Staying in room 3 was a treat! The bed was super comfy, and the decor with military memorabilia was unique and interesting. The ensuite bathroom was brilliant, and it felt clean and well-maintained. Plus, the room had cool touches like a record player and USB plugs, making it feel both quirky and modern. Just a quick walk to the city center, too!
